I have repaired and modified countless tube amplifiers for many great players and from this experience I have come to understand what a player wants in a great amplifier. Most would just as soon forget about all the bells and whistles but settle for nothing less than a reliable amplifier with plenty of raw guts to cut through the band mix and enough pure tone to ignite their true artistic inspiration. I have always been inspired by the classic circuitry of yesterday that players world-wide have made popular. I modified classic tube circuitry and improved it with today's technologies. Tweaked it a little here and a little there. Then listened carefully to the results. The net result of all this is the creation of a new breed of blues amplification. The Chicago Blues Box has captured the elusive 3-dimensional tone that is missing from so many of today's new amplifier designs. This amp is alive and ready to inspire your art.
